University Ambassadors

Multinational, multi-talented and smartly dressed, they are the elite university Ambassadors.

The Ambassadors are an international group of students appointed by the presidential office, hand-picked to perform specific duties on and off the campus. There is no swearing-in ceremony, but each one of them is morally bound to serve the interests of fellow students, especially newcomers who need help in their adjustment to campus life at Limkokwing.

The Ambassadors receive visitors, brief parents about the course of study and introduce them to campus facilities. They organise cultural activities, play host at important events and take challenges in their stride along with other students on campus.

Cheerful and zealous, these Ambassadors proudly serve as university guides, event organisers, campus speakers, masters-of-ceremonies, communicators, administrative assistants, researchers and even performers. They are always ready to lend a hand in social, cultural, welfare and education activities. In many respects, they are the gems of the university.

Their presence is strongly felt-at the marketing department, on stage, among freshies and at important functions. Meet some of our Ambassadors:

Erjon Korbi Country: Albania Course: Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business Information Technology Studying at Limkokwing University is a unique experience on its own. Each day, I meet people from different countries. I believe that my experiences here have helped to change me for the better and made me a more responsible person. I will definitely take this experience with me along the way in my future career.

Muktafe Reza Khan Country: Bangladesh Course: Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Tourism Management Joining Limkokwing University was one of the best decisions of my life. Studying in such a multicultural environment broadened my horizon. Becoming an Ambassador was a grand surprise. This position helps me work towards becoming a professional, which will significantly help me in my professional life afterwards. It is through experiences like this that have taught me the sense of responsibility. It is great to get to greet VIPs and industry leaders from whom I have much to learn. It is truly an eye-opening experience, which I am grateful to have. I have learned so much and will learn much more in the future. Last, but not least, it is an enjoyable experience working as an ambassador.

Zhang Qian Country: China Course: Bachelor of Arts (Design) I am very proud and happy to be appointed as an ambassador from my country. Being a link between the students and the university is a very big responsibility for me and I am truly honoured to be studying in this professional university, where quality education is guaranteed. I am beginning to enjoy the working lifestyle of an ambassador. The environment at Limkokwing University brings a positive mood to actually study and complete my education.

Mohab Mohammad Taha Country: Egypt Course: Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Software Engineering with Multimedia Limkokwing University is a paradise for creativity. I’m making a great progress by studying here. I could share my concepts with friends from many different countries, and experience other people’s cultures and traditions. At Limkokwing, the excellent devices and professional lecturers make everything easy for newcomers. As a Student Ambassador, I am prepared and glad to help everyone.

Egisty Renka Razuary Country: Indonesia Course: Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication At the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, I’m not just learning great education on creative technology. The campus is complete for students to learn from and by the best industry standards and education is to the highest quality here. It is significant because by having this, I can stimulate my creativity without worrying about classroom barriers. Limkokwing is a great place to learn about new cultures from different parts of the world as there are lots of international students to meet.

Sepehr Nouri Country: Iran Course: Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Industrial Design When I first came to Limkokwing I was meek and timid, not knowing what the university held in store for me. My thinking quickly changed however, when I found the Limkokwing ambiance to be easy going, but studious and fun which helps me pursue my studies. It is truly amazing how many nationalities live under one campus and it is easy to fit in no matter where in the world you are from. Being a University Ambassador has broadened my horizons, opened my mind up to new cultures and experiences. In all, it has made me a better and more responsible person.

There are so many different cultures that you are overwhelmed and grateful to experience in a global environment. Wilson Yeoh Country: Malaysia Course: Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Tourism Management At Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, I’m not only learning as a student to achieve good grades in my studies; it actually goes beyond that. I have been given a golden opportunity to be exposed to and trained on how to be a well versatile and creative-minded person: one that can adapt to any kind of situation and to be a survivor in a global society that is constantly changing. As a Student Ambassador of the university, it is not a duty that I can take for granted because this is a rare opportunity where I am able to learn from the best and to face the multi-tasking corporate world; where I believe requires us to think like the best and to make the impossible possible.

Robin Coenraad Country: Netherlands Course: Bachelor of Business (Hons) in International Business When I first entered Limkokwing University I walked through the plaza, and I was amazed. The architecture and the creativity of the university give it such uniqueness. The ambience and the smiles really make this place magnificent. Besides having lecturers who are equipped with a wealth of industry experience, my hands-on learning process has been and proved to be very vital indeed. Limkokwing is not just about education; it is an experience. Limkokwing offers a unique blend of colourful cultures and ethnicities that not only open up the mind, but also makes and individual prepared to interact with many people in their post-degree life. Hind Yaqub Mubark Osman Ribeda Country: Sudan Course: Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Tourism Management Studying at Limkokwing is an exciting and beneficial experience, which is multiplied ten times if you are a student ambassador. It is an honour to be a representative of the Sudanese students on campus and to be a representative of the university’s unbelievable off-campus activities. Malaz Elnaiem Country: United Kingdom Course: Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication I have always wanted to travel; see the world and experience different cultures, traditions and beliefs. After enrolling at Limkokwing University, I found no reason to travel further. I think that this university is one of the most culturally diverse universities in the world. Even though I am from another country, I feel right at home at Limkokwing Malaysia.

Lien Ho Country: Vietnam Course: Bachelor of Business (Hons) in International Business Since I became a student ambassador in Limkokwing University I had a better chance to experience how to interact and communicate with students from different cultures. Nicoleen Hassam Country: Zimbabwe Course: Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Tourism Management It is an honour to be chosen as a Student Ambassador for Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. It is a great experience for me as I get to meet so many different people, go to new places and try new things, which helps in my course Tourism Management. To me, being and ambassador is basically a form of self-actualisation.
