This is a moment of truth for 19 international student fashion designers from the Fashion and Retail Design programme at Limkokwing University, as they present their collection for the first time for a selective viewing.

The central theme that runs through the entire collection is Romance and the interpretations are varied and multicultural. The entire presentation will cover 90 minutes featuring evening wear and casual attire.

In between there will be a hair design presentation by the Limkokwing Hair Design Academy giving the audience a unique display of hair design.

Guests will also be entertained to songs and dances by talented Limkokwing students who are pursuing diploma and degree studies at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and the Limkokwing Sound and Music Design Academy.

Creativity is an endless journey. And those who undertake it find joy in its expressions. And it doesn’t matter what form the expression takes. Music, painting, song, dance or poetry. These are what we are used to and what we associate creativity with. But there is creativity, too, in science, maths and commerce. And the world has benefited from the discoveries that scientists, mathematicians and entrepreneurs have made through their creative endeavours.

In an environment where creative minds are constantly at work, every second and every hour of the day you can expect to see an explosion of new ideas. The Limkokwing University campus where students from a hundred countries mix and mingle the creative power that is evoked is incredible. In this night of inspiration we glimpse some of the creative energy that has been unleashed. The tof the evening is this showcase of stunning designs by our fashion graduates who have worked long and hard hours to create this portfolio of tomorrow’s fashion.

We will also hear voices from three continents as we launch a maiden effort by the University to inspire a music album that we call Suara by students from 20 countries who have translated their energy into creative musical expressions.
